Rehoboth Beach, Bethany Beach, Dewey Beach, Lewes Beach are all free to the public. For Delaware State Parks, a park entrance fee is charged daily from March 1 to November 30. This fee allows your vehicle and its passengers to enter any Delaware State Park on the date of purchase, except for Fort Delaware. Once in the park, visitors may enjoy such activities as swimming, birdwatching, hiking, picnicking, or simply relaxing. For Delaware registered vehicles, the fee is $3.00 for inland parks and $4.00 for ocean parks. For out-of-state registered vehicles, the fee is $6.00 for inland parks and $8.00 for ocean parks. The entrance fee does not apply to vehicles with 16 or more passengers.
For Rehoboth: Parking meters and permit parking are in effect from the Friday immediately preceding Memorial Day until Labor Day (**Parking meter fees are in effect until second Sunday after Labor Day**). The Rehoboth Beach parking meters accept quarters only and rates are $1.00 per hour. Change machines are available at the 1st and 3rd blocks of Rehoboth Avenue. Parking permits can be purchased for specific periods of time at several locations throughout the city. These locations include City Hall at 229 Rehoboth Avenue; the Parking Meter Division at 30 1/2 Lake Avenue; Real Estate Offices, Rehoboth Avenue past the draw bridge and Bayard Avenue after crossing Silver Lake into town. Permits are required for downtown parking wherever there is not a meter present.
For Bethany: Parking meters are situated throughout the downtown business district and have a (2) two-hour time limit which can be replenished. Hourly rates are the same througout the town. Beach lots and the further northern and southern streets offer (8) eight-hour meters. Many eastern and western streets are not metered and are designed for Residential Permit Parking only.

The legal drinking age in Delaware is 21. Likewise, you must be 21 years old to enter a bar or liquor store in Delaware.
