Ferry

Cape May-Lewes Ferry - The Cape May-Lewes Ferry is the most memorable way to travel between Delaware and New Jersey. Expand your family vacation experience by taking the Cape May-Lewes Ferry on the 17-mile, 80 minute voyage across the Delaware Bay and cut miles off your trip along the Atlantic Coast. Trolley service is available seven (7) days a week from June 14 through Labor Day, stopping at points in Lewes, Rehoboth Beach and the outlet corridor along Route 1. Bus and Trolley

DART First State Resort Transit Bus - The DART bus service operates from Memorial Day weekend through the second week in September, with most routes running from 7:00am-1:00am. Resort Transit provides service to Lewes along the Rt. 1 corridor, to the Outlets, into downtown Rehoboth, Dewey Beach, Bethany Beach, South Bethany Beach, Fenwick Island and Ocean City, MD. All buses are equipped with wheelchair lifts, bike racks, and are air conditioned for your comfort. (View DART Route Maps)

DART’s Rehoboth Park & Ride Lot is located on Shuttle Road, just behind the Holiday Inn Express Rehoboth Beach, just north of Rehoboth Avenue. For a $7.00 parking fee, everyone in the vehicle receives a FREE daily pass that is valid on all Resort Transit buses. DART’s Beach Bus, Rt. 305, provides bus service between Wilmington, Dover & Rehoboth Beach on Friday nights, Saturdays, Sundays and holidays from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend. Jolly Trolley of Rehoboth - This public trolley runs between Rehoboth Beach and Dewey Beach with stops throughout the area. The trolley runs every 35 minutes or less depending on traffic conditions, daily in season. The trolley is also available for charter for special events such as weddings, retreats and parties. Bethany Beach Trolley - The Bethany Beach Trolley runs from the Friday before Memorial Day through mid-September, continuously between 9:30am and 10:00pm, at a fare of $.25 each way. Please note, the driver does not make change. You can flag down the trolley anywhere along the route for a pick-up or discharge, except along Route 26 or Route 1. There is no pick-up or drop-off on Jefferson Bridge Road. To view the trolley schedule, please visit their website.

Greyhound Bus System - The Greyhound Bus offers limited service to Rehoboth Beach during the summer season, with drop-off and pick-up offered at the entrance to downtown Rehoboth Beach. For schedules and fares, please visit their website or call 1-800-231-2222.
